Thoughts of Fear, Steps of Faith

 

 

 It was a challenging weekend. I didn’t get to film on my regular schedule, winter weather showed itself as I had to use the snowblower and I was taking care of sick people. 


Thoughts of fear popped up..


  • Will this family member get better health wise?

  • Is this a cold or corona?

  • How am I going to be consistent with this and that coming up?

  • Am I too old to try to change for the better now?

  • If I would’ve done that so many years ago.

  • I hope this snowblower works, my back is hurting from shoveling yesterday!

  • Am I stuck here at this job or…? (you fill in the blank)

  • And so on and so on..


Those thoughts of fear try to dominate your mind. Making you feel like you can’t move ahead.   As if we’re stuck in some mental quicksand. But we can get out of that mental quicksand with actions of Faith. We have to remember to keep moving with Actions of Faith. That’s the only way to fight thoughts of fear. Not all fear is bad, so what kind of fear am I talking about?


The fear when we’re being afraid or feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation or event.


What I like is when I change my mindset with Faith, that definition becomes: 

F.E.A.R.: (Face Everything and Rise), thinking positively about a possible situation or event. Looking ahead and planning out a solution for that probable situation or event.

Do you know Fear and Faith both are familiar with the unknown? 

Fear stops you from moving ahead or forcefully moves you ahead with a negative outcome. 

Faith helps you move forward with steps, plans, goals, etc. and a positive and study outcome.

I have to keep making plans, with actions of my Faith. This blog would be possible with it. Nothing in our lives would be possible without taking actions of Faith.


That’s my thought blog for today...Thoughts of Fear, Steps of Faith

Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought: FEAR Or  FAITH ......Which One Are You Holding Onto? With all the concerns about COVID-19, I see there is a sense of fear going around. When I go to the grocery store and see people with masks on, I wonder if they are infected. Then they look at me without a mask as if I am doomed. Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought:  The Direction of Your Anger (My George Floyd Reaction)  First of all, I want to send my condolences to the family and friends of George Floyd. My prayers and heart goes out to you for your loss. May God give you strength, His love, and comfort during this time. You lost a family member and/or a friend. The world lost another black man taken away from us too soon and his absence will be missed. Though I did not know George, He was/is someone's Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, etc. And his absence from the Black community and nation has been felt since his passing. I sent the past week remembering the fears of my mother and how she'd stress to me dealing with the police and statistics of black men being murdered or locked up in prison. that I would be lucky to reach 35 years old based on statistics at that time. Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought: THOUGHT: Cursing/Profanity - Unnecessary Language This isn't an easy one to write about. Some people are probably rolling their eyes or share the sentiment of the lady in the picture of the left. That's okay and I understand, but I wanted to share my thoughts about unnecessary language of cursing as I've known it growing up and it's so called proper name, profanity.
