THOUGHT: The Fight Within - 5 Things To Consider

Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought:

What are 5 things to consider as you deal with the fight within?

What is the fight withing? The things we battle with on a daily basis to live the life we want.
As we go through the list, I will share what I mean.

1) The Fight Within...YOU. Our mind is in need of growth. It does not like doing the same old thing and loves to apply new things. Inside us, all is a newer and better version of ourselves eager to get out. The hunger to become someone new and/or do something new calls us. Isn't it interesting when you do something you knew was wrong and feel upset because you knew you were better, not to do something like that? You know you are thriving to move forward. Old bad habits or ways can hold you back. Keep you in a mindset of being mediocre. Stuck in a mundane attitude of life. The Fight withing YOU is fighting to grow into a better person. Don't let nothing hold you back, including yourself, from personal growth as a person.

2) The Fight Within....SPACE OR A PLACE.
Would you be comfortable sleeping under a big boulder rock? Wouldn't it make you uneasy? I know I would be. That is the same it is with your space or place. Just like your mind longs to grow and expand, you will want the same way. You can't live in the 'hood'  or certain areas forever. When you thrive to be better and be in a better space as well. 10 people would find it hard to stay in a 1 bedroom apartment! They would be better off in ta house. A place they can walk around having some space to breathe. Get some elbow room. When you decide to expand your mind, you'll have the hunger to broaden your horizons.

3) The Fight Within....Relationships.
We are tied to one another by relationships. When you want to expand your mind and space, it will challenge your relationships. You may decide to have a new belief and lifestyle about things than when you 1st met. You may want to follow a dream that is going in a different direction. You might have to practice tough love on a family member because of drugs or break away from an abusive relationship. There are many challenges you will have to go through as you grow into maturity, wanting to take your life to a new level.

4) The Fight Within...TIME OR GRACE.
This is a personal struggle for me because I want to do 50 hundred things in a day, it seems, lol.  The key to winning this fight is realizing that you have more time than you think. When we don't waste our time on meaningless things, we will feel better and happier knowing the task that made a difference is done. The kid who does their homework early can enjoy some free time later. Treat your time God has given you with caution and value and you will go far.

5) The Fight Within...Your Heath.
Strengthen yourself so you can be full of energy to handle your day. Some days you will have to make your body do what you need it to do. On other days you will have to do what your body wants...like rest.  It is a balance you will have to work out for the rest of your life. You only get one body in this life. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

That's my thoughts for today. Let me know what you think. I would love to hear your thoughts.

If you think this can help out someone...please share it.

Thank you,

THOUGHT: Fear Or Faith......Which One Are You Holding Onto?

Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought: FEAR Or  FAITH ......Which One Are You Holding Onto? With all the concerns about COVID-19, I see there is a sense of fear going around. When I go to the grocery store and see people with masks on, I wonder if they are infected. Then they look at me without a mask as if I am doomed. There is a lot of mixed emotions about the whole thing and at the end of the day, the choice of how you react to the virus is yours. Before I thought of the question and title of today's thought...I was thinking of something my mother used to do with my younger sister and me. How our Mother would take us to the Video store (VHS) and would rent these cheesy zombie movies. You know these movies. The movie that would have you laughing on the floor beginning to end! Not with my Mother. My sister and I would be eating popcorn in front of the 25-inch console TV (revealing old age) on the grossest parts of the movie. I'd look bac

THOUGHT: The Direction of Your Anger (My George Floyd Reaction)

Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought:  The Direction of Your Anger (My George Floyd Reaction)  First of all, I want to send my condolences to the family and friends of George Floyd. My prayers and heart goes out to you for your loss. May God give you strength, His love, and comfort during this time. You lost a family member and/or a friend. The world lost another black man taken away from us too soon and his absence will be missed. Though I did not know George, He was/is someone's Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend, etc. And his absence from the Black community and nation has been felt since his passing. I sent the past week remembering the fears of my mother and how she'd stress to me dealing with the police and statistics of black men being murdered or locked up in prison. that I would be lucky to reach 35 years old based on statistics at that time. Thank God for me beating those statistics, but there is unrest for black men in what is call

THOUGHT: Cursing/Profanity - Unnecessary Language

Hello, Everyone. donovin here, with today's thought: THOUGHT: Cursing/Profanity - Unnecessary Language This isn't an easy one to write about. Some people are probably rolling their eyes or share the sentiment of the lady in the picture of the left. That's okay and I understand, but I wanted to share my thoughts about unnecessary language of cursing as I've known it growing up and it's so called proper name, profanity. Dictionary's meaning: verb (used without object) to use profanity; curse; swear. verb (used with object) to swear at; curse: He cussed the pedestrian for getting in his way. to criticize or reprimand in harsh terms (often followed by out): The coach cussed out the team for losing. Synonyms for profanity cuss , cuss word , dirty word , expletive , four-letter word , obscenity , swear , swearword , vulgarism God's Word on the subject (just a few scriptures) 9 With the tongue we praise our
